A golden anniversary

2023 marks the fiftieth year of the placement scheme here in Preston; the sandwich course option which was started in 1973. As an integral function of the Graphic Design course, it offers our students an unrivalled opportunity to experience and learn from designers and studios in industry. As a consequence of the placement scheme running over the last five decades we now have an industry network of alumni that is second to none. Now we’re turning to you as one of that network to help us celebrate the past 50 years, and discover where everyone’s journey has taken them.

Brief

We know you’re busy. So we’d be made up if you could simply send us a 50 second response to the question “What did a Preston placement do for you?”.

Treat it like a first year one-week brief. Feel free to record, animate, draw or dictate your response. It could be in your studio, out and about, or anywhere in between. But in short we’d like to celebrate, timestamp and show off where our Preston family have ended up.
